On Tuesday, 19th of May 2026, a scientific meeting will be held at the Sala Lippolis of the National Archaeological Museum of Taranto on the topic:
"A city between two seas. New research on Taranto".
During the conference, the results of the PRIN 2022 ARCHITA and TARAS research programs will be presented, which concern the study of the ancient city of Taranto through modern research and documentation methods.
The presentations focus on the topography of the ancient city, the historical landscape, the sacred areas, the necropolises and the architectural heritage of Taranto, highlighting the importance of protecting and promoting the cultural heritage of Magna Graecia.
