On the occasion of the historic establishment by UNESCO of February 9th as World Greek Language Day, the Maroussi - Pefki Branch of the Panhellenic Women's Organization "PANATHINAIKI" and the Northern Branch of the Mani Association "MANI", have the honor to invite you to a special event that they are co-organizing on the theme:

“The timelessness of the Greek language and its contribution to the formation of world civilization”

The event is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Parliament and will take place on Thursday, 19th of March 2026 at 19:00, in the Hall of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Amarousio
(9 Vas. Sofias & Dim. Moscha Street – Marousi).

Speakers at the event will be:

  • Mr. Georgios Koumoutsakos, Permanent Representative of Greece to UNESCO, Ambassador and former Minister.
  • Mr. Vasileios Konstantinopoulos, President of the Philological Association “PARNASSOS”, Emeritus Professor of the University of the Peloponnese.
  • Mr. Emmanouil Chatzinakis, Vice President of the Philological Association “PARNASSOS”, philologist, former Member of Parliament and Minister.
