The Il Pensiero Mediterraneo is an independent, non-profit online cultural publication based in Italy, dedicated to the promotion of culture, science, education and intercultural dialogue among the peoples of the Mediterranean. Founded by APSEC-Lecce, it operates without public or private funding, relying solely on voluntary participation. Through articles, essays and interventions on subjects such as literature, art, philosophy, history and society, it seeks to act as a bridge for the exchange of ideas and experiences. It maintains editorial teams in various Italian cities and representatives in Mediterranean countries, including Greece and the historical region of Magna Grecia, strengthening the link between contemporary cultures and their common heritage. The magazine Pensiero Mediterraneo has 18 editorial offices/teams in Italy and 4 overseas.
